February Monthly Collection Sneak Peeks!

Reposted from the a•muse|studio blog!

We’re counting down the days to the release of our new February Collection!  Over the next five days, I’ll be sharing sneak peeks of some of the fabulous products that will be available for the month of February as part of our Monthly Collections program.  Each month, we’ll be introducing new stamp sets, dies and other accessories.  Monthly Collections are designed to work with the fabulous products from our main catalog. We hope you’ll find lots of ways to extend the use of products you already own and see a few new ones that you might like to play with!

Let’s get the party started!

Today’s sneak peek is for a new stamp set called Spring Scene.  This stamp set includes 21 images.  There is a matching die set available that includes 20 pieces.  So many options!!

This sweet little bunny just melts my heart!  I stamped him in Grapefruit ink.  Now that I’m looking at the photo, I realize that he is missing his cute little “bunny bum”… must’ve forgotten to glue it down!  Ooops!  (Bunny bums are part of the February Collection!)

Masking is one of my favorite techniques and it’s so easy!  To create a mask, simply stamp your image on a sticky note and trim very tightly.  Use this “mask” to cover one of the eggs while you stamp another.

The Happy Easter sentiment is from the Essential Sentiments Too (SASNO44) stamp set.

{The inks I used on this card are Marigold, Bermuda, Grapefruit, Buttercup, Sage.  Branches are stamped in Grass.}

This next card features a Sneak Peek of another new die from the February collection – the Card Catalog tag die.  It measures 1-7/8″ x  3-1/4″ and comes with a 3/8″ circle.  It’s a great size and I love the added stitching around the edge!

The flowers on the tag were made with A Muse Studio Crepe Paper and the Flowers die set (TAD0076).

I used one of our Cellophane Gusset Bags (2 x 1.5 x 5) and filled it with pillow mints.  The pastel colors are perfect for spring!
